Over 200 students from schools around Bangkok will
attend at 1 day workshop scheduled for Saturday 25th May 2013, where they will learn fundamentals of marketing strategies and presentation skills.
The students in pairs, will then be invited to develop their own Market Entry Strategy for a product/service of their own choosing and to submit their paper strategy to be assessed and judged. The shortlisted 8 entries will then go on to the ITC National Competition where they will present their strategy to a panel of judges. There will be cash prizes for the winning teams. The three winning teams, will go on to compete in the Regional Competition against the top entries from up to 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region which is scheduled for August 2013 in Hong Kong.

Participants’ requirements for joining The International Trade Challenge 2013.
The competition is opened to all secondary school students with good English background. Guidance will be given to the students on the framework and content of the plan in a 1 day workshop, to be held on Saturday 25th May 2013 at Bangkok Patana International School 9.00 pm. – 4.00 pm.
They are then required to submit a “Market Entry Strategy” for a new product of their own creation, detailing their marketing, promotion, pricing, inventory and inventory and international product distribution plans, within one month after the day of the workshop.
The three winning teams will be chosen for their understanding of the significance of market research, creativity, planning, and entrepreneurial skills in entering new markets.
